Sunday, lazy Sunday

Blog nr. 4 and I still don't have any followers. I'm not even sure I have any readers ... please, make yourselves known and leave a comment ... thank you !!

Sunday started off lazy. Had breakfast together. Usually, the flyers have come in and we look at those. We ended up watching tv and playing with Malú. Had her sandwich and she napped. We wanted to go out to the petting zoo, but she slept too long, so we wouldn't have had so much time, so we ended up not going anymore. Instead more of the same ... just a nice, lazy Sunday.

Neighbour's day

It was nice to wake up to our holiday.
Yesterday was Saturday. Didn't do anything in the morning. Had a nice breakfast together, then just hung out. We wanted to go downtown, but it ended up being a lazy morning. Malú then napped, Herbert went downtown and came back with a busload of clothes and 2 jackets (that we will decide on later) for Malú. I woke Malú up and we got ready to go to the neighbour's day at the local supermarkets and stores. They had stalls with food (meat balls, popcorn, waffles), drinks (kid's drinks), an inflatable slide and a merry go round. Everything for free, so Malú sat on the merry go round the entire time. Grandma and grandpa (my parents) came by and we had a great time. It had gotten pretty warm for the time of the year too. Great first day of our holiday together !!

Holiday

Hi all,
Short post, people.
I'm sooo excited, that (since I don't work Fridays) my holidays have started !! Looking forward to 3 weeks ... 3 weeks !!
My boyfriend Herbert only has 2 weeks, starting Monday. We will be home the first week and looking into renting a house somewhere here in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany the second week. Herbert then goes back to work and I get to have another relaxing week at home, YAAAAAAY !!

Welcome to Astrid's world !!

Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing well on the first day of Fall 2011 (??), can you believe it ??
I didn't want to at first, but yes, Maria, you convinced me in the end ... my blog is now a fact. We'll see where this goes. Hope we can all stay in touch and posted of eachother's lives through blogging.
So here's a first peak into my life as I know it ...

I don't work Wednesdays. If the weather is good, I normally try to go downtown in the morning and run arrands. Didn't feel like it today and Malú and I took it easy. Had breakfast together, got dressed and we then went and picked cousin Anouk (my sister's daughter who's 3) up from "school". We walked over to grandma and grandpa's and the 2 played together for a bit. We then went home, had lunch and Malú napped. I usually get on the internet (Facebook) for a bit. Sometimes do laundry or take a nap too.
Malú has a cold and her eyes are all watery. This afternoon I woke her up at 4.30pm ... 4.30 people !!!!
Guess she needed it.
Are you all bored yet ?? I'm still not too sure about this blog. I don't live a flashy life, a family life, I would say.
Well, I have to go already and go cook dinner. Have a nice day !!
